PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
CENTRAL OF GEORGIA RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Central of Georgia Railway, that:
1. Carrier violated the Agreement when it failed and refused to
compensate Telegrapher H. E. Holland for eight (8) hours for the
calendar day of March 18, 1957, lost in transferring from third shift,
Ocmulgee Bridge, to second shift at that point.
2. Carrier shall compensate Telegrapher H. E. Holland for eight
(8) hours at straight time rate for March 18, 1957, rate $2.242 per
hour.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon was waived by the parties. Under date of November
24, 1958, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
