CENTRAL OF GEORGIA RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Central of Georgia Railway, that:
1. Carrier violated Telegraphers' Agreement when on April 2,
1957, Chief Dispatcher King authorized extra operator Wade to displace extra operator A. L. Hall at Ocmulgee, Georgia.
2. Carrier shall compensate A. L. Hall for lost time in changing
positions and difference in pay between Gordon and Ocmulgee, as
follows:
April 5th, lost 8 hours at $2.242 per hr $17.94
Difference in pay, 64 hours at $.156 per hr 9.98
(April 6 thru 10, and 13 thru 15-8 days)
TOTAL CLAIM $27.92
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon was waived by the parties. Under date of November
24, 1958, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
