PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
CENTRAL OF GEORGIA RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Central of Georgia Railway, that:
1. Carrier violated the terms of the Agreement when on July
4, 1957, it required or permitted Conductor Ryals of Train No. 4, to
copy train order No. 7 at Griswold, Georgia, at 2:08 a.m.
2. Carrier shall compensate B. P. Edenfield, regular assigned
operator at Ocmulgee Bridge, who was off on his rest day and
available and entitled to perform the work of handling train order
at Griswold on July 4, 1957, for 8 hours' pay at the time and one-half
rate.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of November 24,
1958, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary
of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request 3s
hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
