CENTRAL OF GEORGIA RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF C12UM:
Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Central of Georgia Railway, that:
1. Carrier violated the Agreement when it failed and refused
to compensate J. A. Pope for eight (8) hours on August 16, 1957,
which he lost in transferring from Mansfield to Gordon-Ocmulgee
Swing Position.
2. Carrier shall compensate Telegrapher J. A. Pope for eight
(8) hours at the pro rata rate of the Gordon, Georgia rate of pay for
Friday, August 16, 1957.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon was waived by the parties. Under date of November
24, 1958, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
