THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of the Order
of Railroad Telegraphers on the Pennsylvania Railroad Company that,
That Train Order No. 23 was placed and handled at Dolton yard
at 8:41 A. M. on May 11, 1952 by employes not under the coverage
of the Telegraphers' Agreement and further, that an extra or regular
Block Operator idle that date, shall be allowed one (1) day's pay for
not having been called to perform the work of the Telegraphers'
Agreement.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
Thab the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of August
13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary
of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case from further consideration by the Division, which request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
