THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of the Order
of Railroad Telegraphers on the Pennsylvania Railroad Company that,
William Shoop and various other Telegraph Department employes, account using a Yard Conductor at Fernwood, January 14, 15,
16 and 17, 1953.
(The above subject is the one under which claims was handled
on the property. It will be noted in Exhibit "D" and in other exhibits
the claims that were made have been held on the Division. The claim
involved 4 days and two tricks on each day. One beginning in the
morning and one beginning in the evening during the rush hours and
were payable to the oldest idle extra man if available and if not to
the oldest idle regular man available.)
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of August
13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary
of the' Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case from further consideration by the Division, which request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
