STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of the Order of Railroad Telegraphers that effective September 1, 1949, the Carrier, in violation of our Agreement, has inaugurated the policy of blanking the positions of Levermen on Saturdays and Sundays at "C", "KN", "Hudson", "Waldo" and "Union" and required the Block Operators at these locations to absorb the work of the Levermen.
It is, therefore, requested that the policy of blanking the levermen positions at the above mentioned points ceases and that these positions be filled on Saturdays and Sundays as provided in the Rate Structure of our Agreement; and that all employes be reimbursed for all losses sustained by reason of this violation.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of August 13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case from further consideration by the Division, which request is hereby granted.
