THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Pennsylvania Railroad Company that when Switz City Block Station was- changed from a 7 day position to a 5 day position effective June 12, 1954, the work was not abolished on the days this position was closed, but continues to be performed either by holding employes on overtime, or diverting the work to employes not covered by the Telegraphers' Agreement. Claim is made that this position be restored to a 7 day position and properly relieved as required by Rule 5-G-1. Time slips properly filed by M. C. Lawson under Rule 4-T-1 to be paid, and extra man available, or a regular man idle on those days be paid for not being used.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and


That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of August 13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case from further consideration by the Division, which request is hereby granted.
