THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on The Pennsylvania Railroad, that:
Claim that seasonal position of Operator-Clerk at Petoskey
should be advertised as in previous years and that W. A. McGuire,
Operator-Clerk be compensated at Straight time rate covering
service on the first trick at Petoskey, from 6 :30 A. M. to 2:30
P. M., and at the time and one-half rate for second tour of duty
from 1:00 P. M. to 9:00 P. M., on days required to remain on duty
beyond his first trick assigned hours.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of
August 13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to
the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case from
further consideration by the Division, which request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
