STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers that Time Table No. 8 effective April 24, 1955, twenty-one (21) new trains were scheduled to originate and terminate at Union Tower Rahway, N. J. When the rates of pay for the positions at Union Tower were established, it did not comprehend the handling of these trains and establish Union Tower as a Terminal point.
In accordance with Regulation 4-T-1 (a) and 8-A-1 (c), I hereby request that the rate of pay for Union Tower be increased to that of a like position on the Region, effective 60 days prior to the listing of this claim.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of August 13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case from further consideration by the Division, which request is hereby granted.
