NATIONAL RAILROAD ADJUSTMENT BOARD
THIRD DIVISION
PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Pennsylvania Railroad that:
The agent at Plain City, Ohio is entitled to be paid his own
salary, plus the salary of the agent at Milford Centre, Ohio, during
the period he was required to service both agencies, due to a temporary consolidation of these agencies, which is a violation of the
April 12, 1938 Agreement. Claim is also made that he be allowed
any necessary travel time, expense or overtime, in addition to the
two salaries mentioned above, if he was required to work or travel
in excess of his regularly assigned hours at Plain City, Ohio.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing was waived and under date of August 13, 1959, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the
Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby
granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
