THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers, Pennsylvania Railroad, that:
E. C. Johnson, Block Operator, is entitled to receive the difference between the pro rata rate, which was allowed, and the
time and one-half rate which was denied, account of services performed on her regular position at Frank Block Station, June 11,
1957. The date in question being the sixth consecutive work day
on which Mrs. Johnson performed service, through no choice of
her own, Regulations 4-F-2, 4-J-1 and 5-G-1 (j) governs.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division by the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing was waived and under date of August 13, 1959, the
parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of
the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is
hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
