THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY (Northwestern District)
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of General Committee of The Order
of Railroad Telegraphers on the Union Pacific Railroad (South Central and
Northwestern Districts), that:
1. Carrier violated
the agreement between
the parties hereto
when it failed and refused to properly compensate R. J. Simmons for
services rendered on September 6, 1957, at Twin Falls, Idaho.
2. Carrier shall now be required to pay R. J. Simmons the sum
of $20.24 in addition to any amounts heretofore paid for services
rendered at Twin Falls, Idaho, on September 6, 1957.
FINDINGS:
The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of September 4,
1959, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is
hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
