PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
ST. LOUIS-SAN FRANCISCO RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the terms of the currently effective
Agreement when on various dates as indicated below, it required
employes to report for investigations in which they were not involved
and there was no mutuality of interest, on their assigned rest days
and failed to properly compensate them from services performed.
(2) Roy Wilcoxson, Yard Clerk, Ada, Oklahoma, now be allowed one day's pay at the time and one-half rate of his regular
position for services performed on October 24, 1957.
(3) A. W. Gray, Yard Clerk, Blytheville, Arkansas, now be
allowed one day's pay at the time and one-half rate of his position
for September 16, 1967.
(4) G. M. McKeon, Chief Crew Dispatcher, Springfield, Missouri, now be allowed one day's pay at the time and one-half rate of
his regular position for each date, October 10, 1957, and January
9, 1958, less amounts previously paid.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of October 20,
1969 the parties jointly advised the Secretary of the Third Division of their
desire to withdraw this case, which request is hereby granted.
