FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
ST. LOUIS-SAN FRANCISCO RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the terms of the currently effective
Agreement between the parties when on May 5, 6, and 15, 1958, it
failed to call Mr. W. H. Crews to fill a vacancy or perform extra
work on the Platform of the Seventh Street Station at St. Louis,
Missouri in line with his seniority and used a junior employe,
(2) W. H. Crews now be allowed one day's pro rata pay for
each day, May 6, 6 and 15, 1958, at the rate of the vacant position.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of October 20,
1959 the parties jointly advised the Secretary of the Third Division of their
desire to withdraw this case, which request is hereby granted.
