READING COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the General Committee of The Order
of Railroad Telegraphers on the Reading Lines (Reading Company), that:
CASE NO. 1
1. Carrier violated agreement between the parties hereto when on
September 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15, 1959, it suspended V. J.
Springer from his regular assignment.
2. Carrier shall compensate V. J. Springer for eight hours at pro
rata rate of his assignment for each and every day he was suspended from regular assignment as set forth in paragraph 1.
CASE NO. 2
1. Carrier violated agreement between the parties hereto when on
September 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, 1959, it suspended V. J.
Springer from his regular assignment.
2. Carrier shall compensate V. J. Springer for eight hours at pro rata
rate of his assignment for each and every day he was suspended
from regular assignment as set forth in paragraph 1.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That hearing was waived and under date of October 16, 1961, the parties
jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is
hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
