THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
READING COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the General Committee of The Order
of Railroad Telegraphers on the Reading Lines (Reading Company), that:
1. Carrier violated the terms of the Agreement between the
parties hereto when on October 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 1959, it suspended Relief
Towerman V. J. Springer from his regular relief assignment No. 1
Race Street Tower and required him to work train director's position,
Race Street Tower, in place of train Director Charles Hooper, 11:00
P. M. to 7:00 A. M. on the above date.
2. Carrier shall compensate Relief Towerman Springer in the
amount of $110.12 account the above suspension in violation of Articles
22 and 7(c) of the current Telegraphers' Agreement.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing was waived and under date of October 16, 1961, the parties
jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is
hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
