READING COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Reading Company, that
1. Carrier violated and continues to violate the Agreement between the parties when it failed and refuses to adjust the rates of
pay of three positions of towerman at Pottsville Junction, Pennsylvania, because of a material change in the duties and responsibilities
of the positions.
2. Carrier shall be required to adjust the rate of pay on the
three positions of leverman at Pottsville Junction, to conform with
those in effect on similar positions at Oley Tower, Reading, Pennsylvania, effective September 1, 1960.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing teas waived and under date of July 9, 1962, the parties
jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
