PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of the Brotherhood of
Railroad Signalmen on the Southern Pacific Transportation Company that:
(a) The Southern Pacific Transportation Company violated or
failed to apply the provisions of the Agreement signed June 8, 1972 between
the Company and the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen, also the provisions
of Rule 56 of the Schedule Agreement.
(b) Mr. M. F. Perizzolo be allowed the benefits of the agreement
signed June 8, 1972, also the benefits of Rule 56 of the Schedule Agreement.

OPINION OF BOARD: Unsupported self-s_rving statements are not evidence and
cannot take the place of probative evidence. The instant
claim is lacking in merit or agreement support. Therefore, we will deny the
claim.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the whole record
and all the evidence, finds and holds:
Thac the parties waived oral hearing;
That the Carrier and the Employes involved in this dispute are
respectively Carrier and Employes within the meaning of the Railway Labor
Act, as approved June 21, 1934;
That this Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over
the dispute involved herein; and
That the Agreement was not violated.
