 STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Appeal of Trackman J. J. Washinko to have a ten-day suspension removed from his record.

 FINDINGS: This claim arose after the Carrier found the Claimant
 to have been absent from work on three separate occasions during
 January and February 1985 without proper authority.
 The record shows that the Claimant had been warned at least twice about his excessive absenteeism. He failed to heed these warnings and to properly fulfill his responsibilities. Accordingly, the Carrier's determination to suspend the Claimant, after its finding of guilt to the charge that led to this claim, was not unreasonable.

      The claim is denied.
