 STATEMENT Appeal by Trackman George Rogers from a five

 CLAM: day suspension administered on September 28,
 1981.
 FINDINGS: Claimant was suspended for five days for exces
 sive absenteeism. The record shows that he
 was absent without permission on August 5,
 6 and 31, 1981. It also has been established
 that he had previously been disciplined for ex
 cessive absenteeism.
 There is no ground for setting aside the dis-
 cipline considered appropriate by Carrier.

 AWARD: Claim denied.
