 STATEMENT Claim of Richard Robinson for reinstatement and
 CLAIM: payment for all time lost as result of his dis
 missal.
 FINDINGS: The record establishes that claimant, a trackman,
 failed to protect his assignment on October 25,
 26, 27, 28 and 29 and November 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8,
 9, 10 and 12, 1982. He had no permission to be
 absent on any of those days. Wis explanations are
 unpersuasive.
 He alleges that he was absent the first two days
 because of injuries sustained in a fight off the property, that he
 could not report on the following two days because he was incarcerated
 because a "friend" had concealed a weapon in the car that was detected
 by police, and could not report on the remainder of the dates due to
 "wife trouble."
 Claimant's record shows that he had received sus-

 pensions in 1980, 1981 and 1982 for absenteeism. We find no merit in the present claim.

 AWARD: Claim denied.
