STATEMENT
 OF CLAIM: "Claim on behalf of Trackman P. Mendez, Rio Grande
 Division, for reinstatement and pay for all time lost
 beginning June 2, 1983, alleging a violation of the
 agreement when the claimant was dismissed from
 service for refusal to comply with instructions."

 FINDINGS: Evidence was adduced at the investigation to support
 the charge. Considering the relatively short service
 of the Claimant and that he walked out of the investigation
 before its conclusion, there is no basis for sustaining this
 claim.

 AWARD: Claim denied.
