PARTIES TO THE DISPUTE:
Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes
and
Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway Company
STATEMENT OF CLAIM- "Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the Agreement when it failed
and refused to properly compensate Section Laborer
Dale E. Chandler for work performed on Saturday,
December 25, 1965, which was one of his rest days,
his birthday and the Christmas holiday.
(2) Section Laborer Dale E. Chandler now be allowed
an additional sixteen (16) hours of pay at his
time and one-half rate because of the violation
referred to in Part (1) of this claim."
FINDINGS;
The Board, upon the whole record and all the evidence,
finds that-
