· BROTHERHOOD OF MAINTENANCE OF WAY EMPLOYEES

Claimant L. G. Drew has submitted a claim for $2.75 for meal allowance for eleven days in September 1984. Claimant relies on Article V, Section 16(a) to support his claim. Section 16 (a) reads in pertinent part as follows:

Employees will be reimbursed for necessary expenses incurred while away from their regular outfits or regular headquarters by direction of the Management, whether off or on their assigned territory. This rule does not apply to employees traveling in exercise of their seniority rights.

                                                ~3b6- ~

Carrier denied the claim on the basis that no meal expense was incurred and such claims have never been paid when employes could report to work, as was the case here, with lunch box in hand.
The Board has reviewed this claim and finds insufficient information is contained in the record on which to base a decision.

                The claim is dismissed.
