M.R Muhr dated December 27, 1996.
FINDINGS
The Board, upon consideration of the entire record and all the evidence, finds that
the parties are Carrier and Employee within the meaning of the Railway Labor Act, as amended,
and that the Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein.
The claim in this case is identical to the one in Case No. 6. In dispute is
the Carrier's issuance of Letters of Counsel to employees perceived to have violated Operating
Rules.
The dispute and the arguments advanced by the parties being the same, the
Board's opinion as set forth in Award No. 6 applies equally as well to Case No. 7 and is
incorporated herein by reference.
AWARD The claim is sustained.
ORDER: The Carrier is directed to comply with this Award within 30 days of the date hereof.
