STATEMENT OF CLAIM:

1, Carrier violated the scope and other rules of the Telegraphers' Agreement, when, on January 8, 1956, it required or permitted clerical employes at Tyler, Texas and Mt. Pleasant, Texas, not within the scope of the Telegraphers' Agreement, to perform telephonic communications work of the class and character that belongs exclusively to telegraphers.

2. In consequence of its action in thus violating the Telegraphers' Agreement, Carrier shall pay to the extra telegrapher first out on the Telegraphers' extra list, a day's pay (8 hours) at the rate of $2.06 an hour (the "QN" Tyler telegraphers' rate of pay), and to the extra telegrapher second out on the Telegraphers' extra list, a day's pay (8 hours) at the rate of $2.05 an hour (Mt. Pleasant telegraphers' rate of pay).

FINDINGS: The above claim was withdrawn by the Organization,
