                                            Case No. 36

FINDINGS : The Board, upon the whole record and all the evidence, finds that:

The Carrier or Carriers and the employee or employees involved in this dispute are respectively Carrier and Employee within the meaning of the Railway Labor Act, as approved June 21, 1934..

The Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein. The parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon.

There is nothing in the record in this case which sustains the proposition that the use of telephone for the calling of wreck train forces, doctors, fire, police and/or hospitals, in instances of wrecks occurring within the adjacent territory, was so extraneous to the job elements appropriate to the telephone operator classification at East Youngstown as to warrant the payment of any additional compensation.

AWARD : Claims denied.
