Request for compensation for Clerk R. L. Stiteler for September 14 and
15, 19530
on which dates he was not permitted to work his own assignment, Job 224, on duty
2:00 P. M., East Yard at East Youngstown, account his eye being covered by a patch
due to injury received on duty, September 12i
1953,
which was duly reported and
injury treated by a company doctor.

FINDINGS: The Board, upon the whole record and all the evidence, finds that:
The Carrier or Carriers and the employee or employees involved in this
dispute are respectively Carrier and Employee within the meaning of the Railway
Labor Act, as approved June 21,
1934.
The Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein. The
parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon.
The disposition of this case is governed by Award No.
46,
