AWARD IN DOCKET N0. 15
STATEMENT 1. Carrier violated the agreement between the parties
OF CLAIM: hereto, when on March 15, 1951, it caused, required and
permitted train service employees not covered by the
Telegraphers' Agreement, to handle (receive, copy and
deliver) train orders at Wilsonburg, West Virginia.
2. Carrier be required to compensate the senior idle
telegrapher (extra in preference for one day's pay (8
hours) on March 15, 1951.
FILINGS: The same principle is involved here as in Docket No. 3. In this
instance the train order was copied at Wilsonburg where an operator had been
employed although the position had been discontinued prior to the CTC installa
tion. The disposition of this claim is governed by our Findings in Docket No. 3.
Accordingly, toe find that the claim should be sustained.
