STATEMENT OF CLAIN:
                Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that the' Carrier violated and continues to violate the Agreements


(A) When on December 25, 1954, it abolished the position·of Car Clerk (PosItinn No, 150) rate $13.40 per day at East Dubuque, Illinois, and removed some of the clerical duties 'of -said-position out from under the scope and operation o£ the Clerks! 9g~eement by. assigning certain portions of said work to ehployes not covered by the Clerks' Agreement. And further, w&en it assgnsd the remaining duties thereof to other clerical positions paying lower rates of; pay than that of $13.,40 per day attaching to Car Clerk's position, and

(B) That the position'of Car Clerk, (Position No. 150) rate $13.40 per-day, shall be re-established, and tlyat-all employes adversely affected by the illegal abolishment of'same be reiiabizrsed for all monetary losses sustained, retroactive tp December 25; 1954, and continuing to the date when this matter is satisfactorily resolved.

            NOTE: Actual monotary'oonsideration involved in 'this claim, Item (B) hereof, to tie determined by joint check of Carriers payrolls, time-book records, etc.

That the Carrier and the,Employes involved in this dispute are.respeetiv'ely carrier and employes within the meaning of the Railiasy Labor Act;

That the Special Board of Adjustment No. 170 has .jurisdiction over
the dispute involved herein; ` -

That the dispute was certified to the Special Board of Adjustment No. 17Q--'ex parts by complainant party; and

        That under 49te of April 3, 1958, the General Chairman of the Clerks$
