STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that
(a) Carrier violated certain rules of the Clerks' Agreement
when they took work from the office of Superintendent Trans,
poxtavion which was performed by J. Sullivan and unilatR=ally
transferred this work to Clerk-Stenographer in the office of
Elizabethport Locomotive and Car Shops. The transfer of this
work was done without due conference, notification or concurrent:, as required by the rules of the Clerks' Agreement, and
(b) Clerk-Stenographer 0. Krasniok be compensated at the
time and one-half rate of her position for all time spent in
performing this work from November 10,
1955
and
(c) Clerk-Stenographer O. Krasnick have her rate adjusted for
performing higher rated work transferred to her and this
adjustment be handled in accordance with the provisions of the
Clerks' Agreement.
FINDINGS
Here Carrier discontinued one method of record keeping and infor-
mation gathering wl%.ch proved impractical and devised butler azd simpler
methos of such reo):d keeping. That does not cons;-ituc? a transfer of work
and there is no shoc·)ing i i this docket that under Rule 2,'(e) claimant, is
entitled to a rate adjustment.
