 1. Claim of Welder Helper R. M. Moreno for eight hours
 pay each work day and holiday beginning June 16,
 1978, and continuing until reinstated to servic,e with
 seniority, pass and vacation rights unimpaired, because
 Carrier improperly dismissed claimant for sleeping while
 on duty.

 Evidence was adduced at the investigation supporting the charge against the claimant and the offense committed is

 generally considered proper cause for dismissal.from service.
