BROTHERHOOD OF MAINTENANCE OF WAY EMPLOYES

versus

MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:

FINDINGS : On March 30, 1958, B&B Foreman O'Neal was called to supervise
section laborers in turning a drawbridge: over the Red River at
Alexandria, Louisiana, to allow passage of boats. The drawbridge is equipped
with continuous rails which have to be removed in order to turn the bridge.

It appears that section forces have always been used to perform that service and that B&B gangs have never been used to turn this bridge. Under such circumstances the claim is without merit.

Claim denied.
