BROTHERHOOD OF MAINTENANCE OF WAY EMPLOYES

 MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
 STATEMENT
 OF CLAIM: "(1) Carrier violated the agreement on January 5,
 1983 when Trackman R. A. Rogers, Kansas City Termi
 nal, was removed from the seniority roster for
 failure to file his name and address following his
 becoming furloughed on December 3, 1982.
 "(2) Claimant's name shall now be reinstated with
 his original seniority date on the seniority roster
 for the Kansas City Terminal. (File 247-6735)"
 FINDINGS: Rule 2(j) contains no exception for employes on
 medical leave and abolishment of their positions
 results in being furloughed. Moreover, in this case Claimant did
 not comply with that rule within the time limited after he was
 released for duty by his doctor.

 AWARD: Claim denied.
