BROTHERHOOD OF MAINTENANCE OF WAY EMPLOYES
versus
MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT
OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the dffective Agreement by failing
to assign Water Service Repairmen to the work of laying
a temporary water line for the System B&B Gang outfit
cars at Howard. Station, St. Louis, Missouri, on April 16,
17, 195$·
(2) Water Service Repairman L. Reeves and Water Service
Repairman Helpers Ralph Pashia and Jake Egger be now
reimbursed sixteen (16) hours each at their respective
rates of pay account of this violation of the Agreement.
FINDINGS: The evidence presented clearly shows that it has been the practice
for bridge and building gangs to lay pipe and/or hose to make
water available for their outfit cars. Under such circumstances the claim is
without merit.
AWARD: Claim denied.
