STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
"Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the effective Agreement when on March
23, 24,
25, 29, 30
and
31, 1955,
it assigned and/or permitted other classes of employes
to perform Roadway Machine ;Mechanic Helper's work;
(2)
The Carrier further violated the effective Agreement when on April 1,

and
5, 1955,
it again assigned and/or permitted other classes of employes to
perform Roadway Machine Mechanic Helper's work;
(3)
Roadway Machine Mechanic Helper H. H. Ashcraft now be allowed eight
(8)
hours' pay, at his respective straight time rate, on each of the aforestated
dates, account of the violations referred to in parts one (1) and two
(2)
of this
claim."
FINDINGS: For the reasons advanced in our Award No.
5,
this claim will be denied.
AWARD: Claim denied.
