    STATEMENT OF CLAIM : "The General Committee of The Order of Railroad

    Telegraphers claim that a temporary block office was opened at Crab Creek September 8, 1955 and manned by an employe not under the coverage of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers' Agreements. Claim is made for a day's pay for C. E. Lenhart who was idle and available on this date." (Lake Region Case No. LD-23594 - System Docket No. 320)


    FINDINGS :


The principle in this claim is the same as that sustained by our Award No. 8 in Docket TE-8413.

 As in TE-8413, Carrier here used a trainman who was not a crewman of the train involved.

    This claim will be sustained.


    AWARD :


    Claim sustained.
