AWARD IN DOCKET NO. 121
STATEMENT
OF CLAIM:
1. Carrier violated the Agreement between the parties when on
April 11, 1957, it required or permitted an employe not
covered by said Agreement at Cowen, West Virginia, to use the
telephone in direct
communication with
the train dispatcher
to secure a call figure on train 92.
Carrier shall be required to compensate an idle operator at
Cowen, West Virginia, in the amount of a day's pay (8 hours)
on April 11, 1957.
FINDINGS:
Inasmuch as the message here subjected to claim was the securing of
a call figure, a
sustaining award
is required by our Award in Docket No. 58.
