STATEMENT 1: .Carrier violated the Agreement between the parties
OF CLAIM: when it failed and refused to properly compensate
T, W, Peeler, agent-operator, Omaha, Illinois, for
November 23, 1961:
2, Carrier shall compensate T, wo Peeler for eight
.hours pro rata pay on November 23, 1961,

FINDINGS: The applicable agreement (Article 42(b)) requires
that "compensation is credited to the work days
immediately preceding and following such holiday."
It does not require, as Carrier argues, that this
employe must have worked the day preceding and the
              day following the holiday. Claimant here met all
