STATEMENT
OF CLAIM:
1. Carrier violated the Agreement between the parties hereto when
on February 13, 1957, it caused, permitted and required a crossing watchman to furnish lineups on trains to employes of the
Philadelphia Transit Company who were working on overhead wires
at Darby, Pennsylvania.
Carrier be required to compensate an idle -operator, extra in
preference for one day's pay (8 hours) on February 13, 1957,
because of said violation.
FINDINGS:
A careful reading of this record leads us to the inescapable conclusion that under the circumstances, the Interpretation to Article 34 obtains. A sustaining Award is in order.
