STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
FINDINGS:
1. Carrier violated
the Agreement between the parties when
on November 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, 1956, it required or
permitted a
Clerk,
an employe not
covered
by the Telegraphers'
Agreement, to relieve J. W. McMillion, Assistant Agent,
Fell Street, Baltimore, Maryland, for his vacation.
Carrier shall compensate the senior, idle
employe covered
by the Telegraphers' Agreement for a day's pay (8 hours)
for November 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, 1956.
The facts in this case justify a sustaining award for the reasons
set forth in our Findings in
Docket No. 93.
A W A R D
Claim sustained as to violation. Claim for payment
denied on the
basis that there was no senior idle employee covered by this Agreement on the
dates in question.
