STATEMENT OF CLAIM :

        1. Carrier violated the terms of the agreement between the parties when it refused and declined to pay the employes listed below for posting and instructing at Int. "RB" on the dates specified.


        2. Carrier shall be required to pay the'following employes for posting and instructing:


          a) L. J. Tiffany for posting at Int. "RB" on the following dates: November 15, 16, 18, 21,.22, 23, 28, 29 and December 1, 1960, 8 hours each day at $1.887 per hour.


          b) H. H. Matthews for instructing L.'J. Tiffany at Int. "RB" on the following dates: November 15, 18, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 1960, 8 hours each day at $0.451 per hour.


          c) R. 0. Blount for instructing.L.'.J. Tiffany at Int. "RB" on the following dates: November 16, and 23 and December 1, 1960, 8

          hours each day at $0.451 per hour.'


FINDINGS :

    The Board, upon the whole record and all the evidence finds that:


The Carrier and the Employee and Employees involved in this dispute are respectively carrier and employee within the meaning of the Railway Labor Act, as approved June 21, 1934, and as since amended.

    The Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein.


    The parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing,thereon.


OPINION OF BOARD :

By Award No. 14 dated July 24, 1962 this Board sustained the subject claim with respect to employes H. H. Matthews and R. 0. Blount, and remanded to the parties for further discussion and negotiation that portion of the claim dealing with employe L. J. Tiffany. The parties have returned to the Board to advise that they have reached a settlement on Tiffany's complaint. They therefore request withdrawal of this portion of the claim from the Board's agenda:

AWARD : The portion of the claim dealing with employe L. J. Tiffany is dismissed.
