STATEMENT "Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
OF CLAIM:
(1) The Carrier violated the effective Agreement by failing
to pay Tracimen Donald C. Bigelow and Thomas D. Chariton, Rossford, Ohio,
holiday pay for December 26, 1960, and January 2, 1961.
(2) That the Carrier now pay claimants Tracisnen Bigelow and
Charlton eight hours each at their respective pro rata rates for each of the
holidays of December 26, 1960, and January 2, 1961."
FINDINGS: Under our prior rulings on the question of holiday pay, claim
for holiday pay for the Christmas (December 26, 1960) holiday
for these two claimants will be sustained; but their claim for the New Year's
(January 2, 1961) hiolday will be denied.
