STATEMENT Claim of the System Committee that:
OF CLAIM:
1. The Carrier violated the effective Agreement by
assigning a Machine Operator to sweep snow from switches in the vicinity
of Akron Junction, on February 24, 1962.
2. That Trackman L. F. Patterson, Sub-Division No.
4,
Akron Division, be now compensated for 12 hours at his pro rata rate of
pay account of this violation of the Agreement.
FINDINGS: This work made subject of this claim was performed at
Cleveland, which is outside Claimant's assigned
territory. A denial award is required.
