STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the effective Agreement on August 23, 1962,
by assigning a class "A" Work Equipment Operator to the work of a Trackman
in Extra Gang unloading welded rail with the work train on Sub-Division 2,
while furloughed Extra Gang trackman L. F. Watson was available for service,
but not used.
(2) Trackman Z. F. Watson be now
compensated for
this one day's pay at
his respective trackman's rate."
