STATEMENT OF CLAIM
: "Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(1) The Carrier violated the effective Agreement by employing a contractor, outside parties, on Saturday and Sund~iy, June 23 and 24, 1962; to
make changes in the partitions in the Carrier's Auditor's office at Victory
Boulevard, Staten Island, New York.
(2) Carpenter Foreman G. D. Decker, Carpenters H. Schlaefer and William
A. Decker be now reimbursed for one days' pair at their respective time and
one-half rate, account of this violation of the Agreement."
FINDIN
GS: Because we believe the office space rented by the Carrier at 2
Victory Boulevard, Staten Island, is used to house Carrier employes whose
daily functions are necessary to the proper function of this railroad, we
will follow Aorard 4783 and sustain this claim.
