          OF CLAIM: "Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Reading Company, that:


            1. On April 12th (Friday), 1963 the Reading Company failed· and/or refused to cover (fill) the first shift at West Trenton Station with an employee under the scope of our Agreement.


2. In consequence of the above violation the Reading
Company is required to pay a dayfs pay, at the first
shift Agents hourly rate., to Extraman R. G. Shoemaker
or the senior, idle, Telegrapher." -

FINDINGS: ·There is evidence that some of the agent's duties
were performed by an e,.ploys outside the.scope of the
· agreement while the agent-Telegrapber'posa_tion was blanked'
on April 12, 1963, so the claim is valid.
AWARD: Claim sustained.
