READING COMPANY
STATEMENT
OF CLAIM: "Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers
on the Reading Company, that:
1. Carrier violated and continues to violate the parties' Agreement
by requiring or permitting train service employes to handle train
orders at 'CR' Frankford Junction, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Carrier shall be required to pay a day's pay (8 hours) to the
following named available extra employes on and for each date
shown beside their names:
R. A. Edelman
C. J. Coyle
L. H. Grim
T. J. Craven
May 2, 1961
May 3, 4 and 5, 1961
May 8 and 9, 1961
May 11, 1961
3. Carrier shall pay the senior idle employe, extra in preference,
a day's pay for each day the violation occurs after May 11, 1961;
the claimants, dates and amounts to be determined by a joint
check of Carrier records."
FINDINGS: The circumstances here are like those in Dccket No. 4, so our Award
No. 4 governs the disposition of this claim.
AWARD: Claim denied.
